Join Mensa

Membership is open to anyone who has scored in the top two percent of the general population on an approved intelligence test. There is no other qualification or disqualification.

Steps to join

  1. Qualify

    Take the Mensa Admissions Test, or submit a qualifying score from a test you have already taken.

  2. Apply through American Mensa

    Membership applications are handled nationally.

  3. Come to something

    New members are welcome at chapter events and Special Interest Groups right away.

Already a member?

The membership year runs April 1 through March 31. If your membership lapsed, you can rejoin without taking the test again.
