Testing

There are two ways to qualify for Mensa: take the supervised Mensa Admissions Test, or submit a qualifying score from another approved test you have already taken.

Take the Mensa Admissions Test

Testing sessions are scheduled through American Mensa and supervised by certified proctors. The national site lists upcoming sessions near you.

Submit prior evidence instead

Many people qualify with a score they already have. Approved supervised tests include the LSAT, the GMAT, and certain older SAT and ACT scores.

Local testing and accommodations

Local sessions are arranged and overseen by the GLAAM Testing Coordinator. If you need special accommodations or have questions about local logistics, contact her directly rather than going through the national site.
